First Steps Orrishmere Pre-school is a charity run community pre-school which has been in operation since 1971. We provide places for around 21children from around 2  years 6 months to school age. Although situated in the heart of Cheadle Hulme, we are fortunate to be located next to the picturesque Ladybrook Valley, which offers a very spacious and natural setting. We have a Trustees Committee who oversee the running of the pre-school and we share the building with 5th Cheadle Hulme Scout Group. 

The pre-school is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 3.30 pm term times only
We also offer an Early drop off from 8.30 am

We Offer:

• OFSTED Registered setting
• 4  Experienced staff, qualified in working with pre-school children
• A high level of adult support - 2-3 year olds ratio 1-4 and over 3's 1-8 ration
• Large indoor and outdoor play areas
• Sessional places - mornings, afternoons, lunch time and all day
• Opportunities for parents to participate in their child's learning
  •  Regular communication about your child's development, through parent/carer chats
